Polenta
Fry Recipe
Ingredients: • 2 tbsp. salt
• 4 cups water
• 1 tbsp. white pepper
• 2 cups Italian polenta
• 1 cup chopped scallions
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
Preparation: Bring water, salt, pepper and scallions to a
boil. Slowly add the polenta while wisking the entire time.
Reduce heat to a simmer and add heavy cream. Keep
stirring until thick and creamy--about 3 minutes. Fold in
parmesan cheese. Transfer to a cooling dish. Let cool at
least 6 hours. Cut into french fry shapes and roll in flour.
Pan fry or deep fry at 350° until crispy. Serve with your
favorite tomato sauce.
